NOTE: Focus identifies each station, terminal or office computer with a unique name. If you need to call Ingage I.T. support they may ask you for the station ID

To find the Station ID:

In the order access screen – look at the bottom left side of the screen it will display the Station ID

FOCUS STATION AND BACKUP STATION

(very important stations)

FOCUS STATION

This is the controlling station. Think of it as the brain of the Focus POS system. It’s normally (but not always) in the office or behind the bar. It controls the credit cards and printer routing.

BACKUP STATION

Backs up all Focus POS data every 7 mins and can become the FOCUS STATION if necessary. It normally (but not always) is in the office or in the bar. The Backup Station also closes the day (Reports, CC batch, etc.) at the end of the night and can control some printers.
