If you are having printer issues, whether thermal or impact, rebooting the printer may resolve the issue.

Step 1

Turn off the printer (switch is usually in the front)

Step 2

While the printer is off - press and hold the feed button (usually on top of printer)

Step 3

While holding the feed button turn on the printer

Step 4

After the printer starts printing, let go of the feed button

Step 5

When the test page prints out - press and Release FEED key to print characters

Step 6

Press the feed button once (don’t hold)

Note: IP printers will have an IP address. When the printer prints out the test page it will print out the IP address

That IP address is useful to identifying the printer
